This eco-friendly paper is a fair trade product made by women cooperatives high in the Himalayas. Most of these papers are ink jet compatible.
Tibetan prayers are written on lokta paper in the monastery. Lokta is also used for legal documents by the Nepalese Government because it is moth free and will last for centuries. Tibetan prayer books over 500 years old can still be found.
